Application of bentonite in foundry industry

Bentonite products are divided into two types and four categories: PNA type is processed from natural sodium base or artificial sodium bentonite. Because of its good plasticity, it has strong ability to resist sand inclusion, scab, sand hole and collapse. Because of its strong formability, high strength of cavity and low waste rate, it is the first choice of sand binder for precision casting. PCA type is processed from natural calcium bentonite. It is a kind of sand binding binder widely used in light castings. It is popular with users for its practicability, good collapsibility and convenient sand cleaning.
